About the Business
I came late to photography, not really picking up a camera in a serious way until 28 years of age. Admiring the simple power of monochrome photography, I quickly learned to ‘see' in black and white and developed the darkroom crafts needed to express myself photographically in an artistic way.
My first major exhibition was held in London in 1982, sponsored by Ilford and I continue to exhibit as regularly as possible, even down to a continuous display of photos, updated from time to time, in a local cafes in Harlow where I live. This has led to commissions and print sales, with photographs held in private collections from California, back across Europe and Scandinavia and onto Japan.
Increasing demand for my services at weddings has kept me very busy in recent years and as I enjoy working with people and being part of a couple's happy day, I can see this will keep me and my cameras busy in the years ahead.
