About the Business
Hi, my name is Paul McGuigan, the owner of the family run business Paul McGuigan Photography based in Strathaven. My passion for photography started at the age of 14. The loft soon became my darkroom where I learned how to develop and print photographs.
With weddings I prefer to stay in the background capturing your day as it unfolds. I prefer to capture natural moments rather than staged shots. Most couples like to have portraits taken as well but I like keep this to a minimum, usually 10-15 minutes, so that you can enjoy your wedding day rather than being in front of the camera. I don't put you in any over the top poses, I simply let you be you and try to make the photographs as natural and relaxing as possible.
When you book Paul McGuigan Photography it will be myself that takes your photographs, myself who edits them so you are ensured of personal attention throughout the whole process.
