About the Business
In a world where its so easy to take a photograph, not just on our cameras but our smartphones and tablets too, my approach as a professional photographer is to make an image that goes beyond the surface; something that involves imagination, thought, technical skill and a knowledge of how to use and shape light.
I once read somewhere that when people try to save material possessions from a family home facing a disaster, such as fire or flood, the most common thing they take are the family photographs and albums. Photographs speak to us, not only of people but of times and places.
