About the Business
Lesley Simpson served her real "apprenticeship" with her father, who was a professional photographer, before embarking on an HND in 2002 at Reid Kerr College (Professional Photography & Digital Imaging). Lesley graduated with several merits in 2004. From here she worked as a freelance photographer, mainly weddings and was also a freelance agent for Kodak Elegante Wedding Photography. In 2006 she moved to NW Australia where she set up a small studio specialising social photography. Whilst in Australia Lesley covered a diverse mix of work including, PR, Commercial, Industrial and even some aerial photography. Her work included photography for the Rio Tinto mining company and has been published in the New York Times, Financial Times and The Guardian. She returned to the UK in 2008. Lesley now works out of her hometown of East Kilbride covering all forms from portraiture and weddings, to music and commercial services.
