About the Business
As a fine art photographer, I am interested in the unique texture, tones and shapes of each object, whether natural or man made. Each has a special beauty that is rich in colour and often surreal in shape. There is also a majestic feel to each piece; the dying tree still stands proud, displaying its own irregular visual forms; the abandoned fisherman's hut stands alone but yet glowing warm in the late afternoon light. Manmade objects are precisely designed and manufactured but when left abandoned to the Elements then Nature takes over in surprising and beautiful ways; the flaking paintwork follows its own course and results in a new aesthetic; the abandoned boat takes on a new coat as the weather redefines its colour. My pieces have been carefully chosen and, in some cases, digitally manipulated to emphasis these colours and tones.
