About the Business
When I first read the above words by pioneering documentary Photographer, Walker Evans, it was a eureka moment that struck a chord with my Photographers instinct, "that's it" I thought to myself as the simple truth of those words sank in. The secret he spoke about wasn't a real hidden secret that no one else could find but rather it was a look, a touch, a fleeting moment, a play of light and shadow, a reflection, a smile or a playful embrace. That's what I do with my wedding photography, record those secrets, those embraces, those looks, those touches, those 200ths of a second that will mean the world to you.
Only after taking tens of thousands of images including band and model portfolios, portraits, landscapes, still life's, travel and event photography did I develop the skills, the experience, the perception and the instincts to be a good Photographer. Only after these many thousands of images and years of practice and study did I then start photographing weddings.
