About the Business
I can't claim that I've had a camera in my hand since I was a small child, I was more into poster paints and 'fuzzy felt' back then.
I think it's fairly common for photographers to prefer to be behind the camera rather than in front of it. However, the process of being photographed has taught me A LOT! If you're photographed by the right person in the right way you will love the results.
Photography can make you look at the world differently. Observing the world through a view finder allows you to choose what to include and what to omit, concentrating on the light, composition, pattern and colour. In a busy, hectic world photography allows me to step back, consider, play and notice all that is beautiful. For this reason alone I love it! My first foray into photography was photographing flowers, this is still a passion and I love to visit gardens around the country.
